With Complaints arising from the inaccessibility of eligible citizens in registering or obtaining the voters cards ahead of the February Elections in 2015, the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,
yesterday, announced the rescheduling of the ongoing exercises in seven
states of the country.
Mr. Kayode Idowu, Chief Press Secretary to INEC
chairman, in a statement said
“At the meeting with political party leaders, the
commission presented a progress report on the production of Permanent Voters Card and
explained lingering challenges necessitating a readjustment in the
previously announced schedule for distribution of the cards and Continuous Voters Registration. in
the outstanding states”.
Friday, November 28 and Sunday,
November 30 2014 while Continuous voters registration will take place between Wednesday, December 3
and Monday, December 8 2014.
