Bride Loses Husband And Leg After Honeymoon Car Crash

A bride is recovering in hospital after she was in a horrific car crash on her way back from her honeymoon that killed her husband and left her with one leg amputated.
Tasha Bradford exchanged vows with 19-year-old Sylvester Storey on October 19, just nine days before the car crash. The Florida based couple were married in Panama City, before they then headed to the Tennessee mountains for their honeymoon.

The duo returned to Florida on October 27, but as they were driving through La Grange, Georgia, in the early hours of the morning they were involved in an accident on Interstate 85.
Sylvester was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision, while 31-year-old Bradford was airlifted to Grady Hospital in Atlanta. However doctors were forced to amputate her right leg, and they also took out a part of her damaged colon too.
Tasha’s sister-in-law, Tori Cooper, updated WMBB about Bradford’s condition, stating, “The day that we got there, she was swollen. She had a neck brace. She had tubes in her mouth. She couldn’t even speak.”
Bradford has since started to make a miraculous recovery, and she has even remained tremendously upbeat despite the tragedy.
The widow has stated that she is blessed, and she has now explained that a dream she had in intensive care featured her dead husband who spoke to her at the scene of the crash that killed him.
She continued, “He said, ‘I can’t stay, but I just want to tell you goodbye, and I love you.’ God has a greater plan than I’ll ever know. I know with time and healing, he’ll send someone my way who will love me for me.”
It’s still not exactly known what happened that lead to the car crash. Tasha was having a sleep in the backseat of the car when the incident occurred, and she admitted that the last words her new husband said to her were, “I love you.”
After the collision, Tasha woke up inside the car and immediately recognised that her leg was severely injured. She was then assisted out from the vehicle by several good samaritans. Tasha only found out that her husband had died when she arrived at the hospital.
Mrs Storey recalled, “I knew God had his side because he was such a good, Christian man. I had no doubt where he was going to go.”
A GoFundMe page has since been set up to try and raise funds for Tasha’s medical expenses, as well as to try and help pay for Sylvester’s funeral. It has so far managed to raise over $18,000.

Justin Bieber Bodyguard Filmed In Sydney Knife Attack On Paparazzo Car

Attack On Paparazzo Car

One of Justin Bieber’s bodyguards has been caught on film knifing a paparazzo’s car tires during a row in Sydney late Thursday night.
The 19-year-old is in Australia for the last leg of his Believe tour. He flew into the capital after his sold-out show in Brisbane on Wednesday night.
The incident was filmed as it happened by the paparazzo after Bieber’s convoy pulled over on the road in an attempt to stop the lensman from following the teen star, Australian news site Nine MSN reports.

In the footage, Bieber’s bodyguard — Hugo Hesny, who has previously been named in an alleged assault on a photographer — is seen advancing towards the man’s car before kicking it numerous times and using a knife to slash the vehicle’s tire.
The bodyguard is then seen trying to remove the paparazzo’s pushbike from the back of the car.
“He just kicked the door. Mate, it’s on camera, it’s on camera buddy. It’s on camera, it’s on camera buddy,” the man said to the guard, while filming from inside his vehicle and apparently talking to a passenger.
After being told to leave the vicinity by the bodyguard, the paparazzo yelled, “I don’t have to go nowhere mate. This is Australia!”
The photographer added, “Keep going. Mate, you turned into a good story, keep going.
Band of brothers rally around boy, 6, to stop teasing

Justin and his crew partied at John Ibrahim’s Kings Cross nightclub, The Back Room, on Thursday night where Believe tour deejay Tay James performed a set.
This knife incident comes amid a row over the superstar’s spray-painting of graffiti at a Gold Coast hotel he stayed at in Queensland.
Bieber tagged a series of colorful images on an external wall in the grounds of the QT Hotel in the early hours of Wednesday post-concert.
He has since been slammed by Gold Coast City Mayor Tom Tate and the Attorney-General Jarrod Bleijie, despite being given explicit permission by the hotel to graffiti.
The mayor has publicly asked Justin to clean up his “mess” or perform at a Christmas Carol show in Queensland on December 7.
Meanwhile, the Gold Coast city council has ordered the QT Hotel to either remove or paint over the artwork despite it being on private property, claiming it is in “prominent public view.”
The Surfers Paradise hotel says it wants to preserve Bieber’s graffiti and has made several public statements praising the tableau, while describing the singer as “a lovely, young guy.”
In an email to Reuters, the QT Hotel wrote, “The piece of artwork will be left for fans to enjoy. We believe it is a wonderful addition to the colorful Gold Coast arts scene.”
The Canadian star will perform at Sydney’s Allphones Arena on Friday and Saturday.
Concert dates in Melbourne and Adelaide follow before his Believe tour odyssey wraps in Perth on December  8

Police in Puerto Rico have accused a 65-year-old man of raping his young granddaughter and having two children with her.
Angel Manuel Natal Bracety was charged Wednesday and is being held on an $800,000 bond.
It was not immediately clear if he had an attorney. Natal told reporters outside the courthouse that he did not have anything to say about the case.
Prosecutors accused him of sexually assaulting his granddaughter starting when she was 12 years old until she turned 15. Authorities say the alleged assaults began in 2008 in the central town of Cidra.

Are You Paced Or Pampered? (1) - 1 Cor. 9 vs 24-27, Heb. 12 vs 1, Psa. 18 vs 29.

God has set a race of destiny before every born-again Christian on this earth. He has also made enough provisions for every Christian to obtain the prize attached to the race. Let me ask you; are you running to obtain the prize? It is a privilege to be born-again and be aware that there is a divine destiny to pursue. As much as God wants you to win in life and destiny, He cannot force you to prepare and do everything possible to win the prize.

You must not think you are doing God a favour pursuing your destiny and you must not be satisfied with participating alone. Paul wrote in I Corinthian 9:24 that you are to run in such a way that you will obtain the price. Joseph in Genesis 39:7-9 was not ready to allow Potiphar’s wife to disqualify him from winning the price. He was paced enough to jump over the hurdle of seduction.

My focus this morning is to ask you if you have subjected yourself to serious pacing or are you being pampered for your destiny? If you are to jump a 2-meter high hurdle or obstacle that is directly placed in front of you, it could be a very difficult or impossible task. But if someone has paced you ahead to start running in order to jump the hurdle, you would have gathered more than enough momentum to jump.

There is power in pacing. Pacing is preparation that causes you to do extra-ordinary things that are within your destiny (Ps. 18:29). God paced me to read the whole bible four times a year when He was preparing me for my destiny. It was not convenient. Don’t be lenient on yourself. Any attempt to run away from pacing makes you unfit to manifest on the platform or stage of your destiny. If David was not paced to handle the sheep, he would not have been in the bush to face the challenge of saving the sheep from a bear and a lion which prepared him for destiny. You must be paced to win the race of destiny.

Prayer:Lord, I submit myself to the process you have drawn for me to be paced for my destiny fulfillment in Jesus’ name.

Inmate, Brutally Killed Cell Mate To Stay In Prison

An Arizona prison inmate who was approaching his release date apparently didn't want to leave, so killed his cell mate to keep staying in prison, cops said.
Roberto Venegas Fernandez, 43, is accused of brutally murdering 55-year-old Michael Patrick McNaughton on Saturday, KPHO reported.
Sheriff Paul Babeu said Fernandez choked, then stomped McNaughton to death, according to the Associated Press.
"Roberto wanted to find a way to stay in jail, so while the victim was sitting on his bed, he choked him until he fell onto the ground, then stomped on his head and continued to choke the victim until he was presumed dead," Babeu said in a statement.
Although investigators initially thought the killing stemmed from a fight between the two cell mates, Fernandez reportedly told detectives that he enjoyed being in prison, and didn't want to be released because he had nowhere else to go.
According to WFSP, Fernandez -- originally from Mexico -- was convicted for committing a sex crime in the U.S.
Fernandez's victim, McNaughton, was sentenced to more than 6 years in prison after pleading guilty to a child pornography charge.
Pinal County Sheriff's Office Spokesman Tim Gaffney said the sheriff's office was asking that a first-degree murder charged be filed against the suspect.

ASUU STRIKE: Mixed Reactions Trails Federal Government’s Threat PLUS See What Students Have To Say 29 November, 2013

The Federal Government has given ASUU 1 week ultimatum to call off the lingering strike that has been on since the 1st of July 2013 and failure to do so will result in the loss of their jobs.

Meanwhile the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) on Thursday described the threat by the federal government to sack lecturers if they don’t return to classroom as empty threat that could not hold water.

While some think this move by government will further aggravate the situation. A lecturer, unlike other workers, cannot be easily replaced.
Read some students opinion below
If the government thinks there are available graduates on ground that will be engaged to teach, who will take care of the post-graduate students? Government should stop dancing to the gallery and do what is right so that our universities will be re-opened.
Khalifa Shariff, Faculty of Law, BUK
I think what the Federal Government is trying to do is very wrong, because this is portraying to the world that Nigerian leaders do not even understand what “knowledge” is all about. Imagine how you can run university education without professors and doctorate degree holders. But ok fine, we the students are waiting to see our new lecturers and we hope Mr. President will be among the new recruit lecturers and we pray for him to pass the screening and interview.
Yahaya Shehu Mohammed, BUK
I believe what ASUU is demanding is neither too much nor unrealistic. So if the government wants to sack the lecturers, they should also expel us as we are solidly in support of the lecturer’s struggle for better education in this country. The government should just implement the 2009 agreement it entered with ASUU and stop playing with our future. We are tired.
Najibullahi Nuhu Abdullahi , BUK
What’s your take on the Federal Government’s Threat?
