A homeless man has allegedly killed a pensioner before eating two of his organs in a suspected case of cannibalism. The 26-year-old is accused of killing the victim with an iron bar in Nouilhan, a small village in the Hautes-Pyrenees in southern France, broadcaster RTL reported. It is claimed the man, of nearby Tarbes, then set fire to the 90-year-old's body before eating his heart and tongue, according to newspaper Le Parisien. He was arrested after allegedly burning down the pensioner's home and assaulting a tractor driver, RTL said. It comes three years after a prisoner dubbed the French Hannibal Lecter was jailed for 30 years after ripping out his cellmate's lung and eating it. Nicolas Cocaign, whose face is covered in tattoos, said he flew into an "uncontrollable" rage when his victim, Thierry Baudry, gave him a "dirty look".
