Fada U-Turn is Dead

Popular Artistle of the 90's, Father U-Turn died on Sunday, November 17th. He died of a Kidney related disease at the age of 36 Father UTurn, whose real name is Olufemi Mayomi rose from poverty as an orphan, built a successful career as a songwriter, recording artiste, TV presenter and performer. He signed a recording contract with Ultima Records where he had Nelson Brown work on his first album which proved to be a huge success. The hits ‘African Culture‘ and ‘Shakara‘ threw him into national limelight. He had worked with the likes of Daddy Showkey, Daddy Fresh and Pasuma who featured in the hit single “Yetunde”. He was survived by his siblings, wife Ajimoh and five children.
