Pathetic Case: Man alleged raping of A 75 year old Grandma.

A magistrate court in south west of Nigeria, Ekiti State had their hands full over the alleged rape of a 75 year old woman case presented before them.

Mr David Erinma,whom acted as the police inspector in charged of the case said to the court that the alleged act was committed on the 7th day of November 2013 at a residence Oke Erinmope Street, Ise-Ekiti in Ise-Orun Local Government Area. He added that the act was against the section 355 of the criminial code. Reports gathered that Lawrence Adedapo, a 45-year-old man, was however remanded in prison for alleged rape.

The Chief Magistrate Simeon Ojo said “It is high time the court made offenders to learn their lesson by keeping them in custody,’’. He however ajourned the rape case to Dec.16.
